It looks like Spring is finally here, we hope.
The A is ready for the road. All checks are done. Fluid levels are topped up, rad, shocks engine oil, transmission.
Brakes have been checked for wear and adjustment.
Tires are properly inflated including the spare.
Fan belt is still flexible with no sign of cracks.
Insurance is up to date and reflects the improvements made over the winter.
For those running regular licence plates, are you up to date? Remember they are no longer sending renewal reminders except to us old people with failing memories.
Time for that test run. Is that gas still good? That "stuff" sold as "regular" does not have a good shelf life.
Small engines will not run on that stuff. If you have some left add some higher octane to boost the fuel.
For those of us still trying to get a car on the road, it is finally warm enough to work in the unheated garage. I am looking forward to making some progress this year.
