Tracking Consent and Opt‑in

The Stampede City Model A Ford Club may collect your vehicle’s location and speed data only when you are logged in as a member and you deliberately choose to enable tracking.

• To use tracking, you must:

  1. Log in with your valid club member account.

  2. Manually turn on the speed tracking and location tracking toggles on this page.

• Tracking will not begin until both toggles are enabled and you confirm your consent.

• The website will record your consent and opt‑ins (for example, via your account activity and IP address) to ensure that tracking only occurs when you have intentionally chosen to participate.

Data retention and deletion

• Because the website is not yet able to automatically treat non‑logged‑in sessions as having no tracking, associated data may be retained until you later choose to delete it.

• You can disable tracking at any time and use the “Delete My Data” button in your account to permanently erase your tracking data.

• When you delete your data, the system will record the deletion in an internal data‑deletion log for audit and compliance purposes.

By enabling these toggles, you confirm that you understand:

• The data collected will be used only for club‑approved purposes, as described in the Privacy & Location Tracking Notice.

• You retain control over whether your data is kept or deleted.

Privacy & Location Tracking Notice – Stampede City Model A Ford Club

The Stampede City Model A Ford Club is a non‑profit organization registered in Alberta. This website (including the speedometer and tracking features) is available only to current club members.

Non‑member use of the speedometer page

• Visitors who are not logged in (non‑members) may view and use the speedometer page for personal reference.

• When used in this way, no data about your vehicle, location, or speed is collected, stored, or associated with you.

Member tracking features (opt‑in only)

• Full tracking of vehicle location and speed is only available to members who log in and intentionally enable tracking through their account settings.

• When you enable tracking, the website may collect your vehicle’s real‑time location and speed and associate it with your club member account. This data is used only for:

  • Keeping tour groups together.

  • Helping locate members in the event of a breakdown.

  • Analyzing whether cars can safely keep up with modern‑traffic speeds during club events.

  • Personal review of your own car’s performance.

• Please note that this data collection is only possible with your explicit opt-in to these features.

Consent and control

Misuse and membership

• Using the tracking feature to stalk, harass, or improperly monitor other members is a violation of club rules and may result in suspension or revocation of your membership.
