In late October, Glenn Smith was able to test drive his ‘28 Fordor sedan for the first time in 64 years - at least drive on the car’s frame for now. The engine started right away and sounded great! The last time Glenn drove the entire car was when he was a teenager and he got the car stuck in the mud.
This time, the slippery wet ground almost got him in the same predicament. The other difference is that this time there were no doors or a roof but at least he had a seat belt. Next step is to get the body mounted on the car after a few adjustments here and there to make things fit. Then it’s off to the paint shop!
