May 25th proved to be a rainy day for the Club’s annual Spring Safety Checks event but in spite of that Chris and Rose Brancacchio’s facilities proved perfect for both the car checking and mid-day barbecue activities!
Participant’s cars kept Chris’s shop fully occupied throughout the day plus to add to the atmosphere of the day a number of members arrived in cars that had been recently checked and therefore didn’t require shop space at this time.
Besides Chris and Rose’s generosity regarding the use of their facilities particular recognition must also be accorded to JR Smith for coordinating the event, to Kathy Chudek and Rose for organizing the luncheon, to Keith Robinson for tending the barbecue, and to Murray Walkemeyer, Paul Chudek, Gary Callander and the rest of the stalwarts whose mechanical expertise and advice served to make this year’s edition of our Safety Checks day another success.
