" Happy New Year " - from your Host Committee for the 2003 NW Regional Meet!
Suddenly its 2003, the year of the Calgary Meet has arrived, and following our 3 or 4 years of planning and preliminaries - - its time to act!
Its not that we need to recall the snowbirds or escape the warmth of our homes before sunrise - - but the time has come when the leaders of the various events will be doing things such as, listing and composing the items they will need printed, finalizing the details and making obtainment arrangements for all of the items they will require, and generally - - addressing as many of the details involved as possible before the real rush of activity begins in the spring!
Simultaneously, as the registrations arrive we're "making our list and checking it twice", not only to make sure nothing falls through the cracks but to also identify which of our own club members will be participating and available as part of our contingent of goodwill ambassadors when the time comes!
It should be a great event and we invite you along for the ride, - -and speaking of rides, if anyone happens to be returning from Portland with a truck or a trailer in the next while, we have a well packaged Hubley Derby track that would like to hitch a ride!
