Saturday, April 5, 2003. It was not a nice spring day; cold, windy, overcast and snow in the air. However, club members are no strangers to dealing with challenges dealt out by Mother Nature.
Fourteen members got the afternoon underway with a fun lunch at the Blackfoot Inn. A big hello, welcome and the Long Distance Travel Award to Denise and Marlo Kulbacki who journeyed from Edmonton to join the outing.
After lunch a short trip was made to J & L Supply, the home of Ron Carey's museum and workshop. We were joined at Ron's by 7 more members and 6 guests. Everyone was happy to see Stub Stafford who is now recovering nicely from his extended illness.
Ron was a most gracious host and spent a considerable time describing where he found some of his trucks to restore and also where he got some of his outstanding collection of gas pumps and other memorabilia.
A big thanks to Ron for hosting the Club and thanks also to Dean Potter for all his organizational work.
